* PLEASE NOTE NEW SHOW * the Newport Playhouse has decided to close it's doors at the end of 2026 with the retirement of the owner.  They are switching the last two shows of the year for fan favorite special productions staring past players, the owner, and long time performers.  So while the shows have changed, they are sure to be special! Be sure to join us to say farewell to the playhouse!

Enjoy an a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet lunch at the Newport Playhouse, and a fun-filled cabaret show, then walk into the intimate theatre for the comedy show "Social Security for Christmas."   Manhattan art dealers Barbara and David see their peaceful lives upended when Barbara’s straight-laced sister, uptight CPA brother-in-law, and outspoken mother arrive on a mission to rescue their college-aged daughter from her free-spirited lifestyle.
