Our walking man helps you to know how strenuous a tour is:
A trip with minimal walking
A trip that includes moderate walking at your own pace
A trip that includes extended periods of walking or group walking tours.
On some tours, you may be able to omit portions of the tour that will be too physical for you as always, if you have any questions about the tour, dont hesitate to call.
Pickups for motorcoach trips are as follows:

Signing up for a trip is easy simply call or email with your name, the number of people traveling, pickup location, your address and phone number. The office is open Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. If you get the voicemail when you call, please leave a message and we will return your call most times we are in the office but simply on the other line helping another customer.
Space will be held on a tentative basis for you when reserving a trip; however we reserve the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not received in a timely manner. Please refer to individual trip pages for payment schedules.

The person that made the reservation will receive an invoice approximately 45 days prior to the trip with departure times, pickup locations, menu selections and any balance due listed. Please read over the invoices and itineraries, since you may need to call the office with lunch or dinner selections prior to the trip. Your requested pickup location will be printed on this information, as well. Please arrive at your pickup location at least 10 15 minutes prior to the departure time. If you would like to change your pickup location, please call the office and let us know. For an overnight trip, you will receive a separate package containing luggage tags and an itinerary approximately 30 days prior to departure.
Payment may be made by personal check or money order. Visa & Mastercard payments are also accepted via phone. There is a $20.00 fee charged for returned checks
No one wants to think about rain on their vacation, but these types of things are out of our control and sometimes we just have to make the best of it. To get great group discounts we are required to pay in full in advance for things like meals, attractions, hotels, and tickets. Most times these payments are not refundable or transferable to another date. So while we hope for great weather on all our tours, we cannot reschedule tours or offer refunds because of rain or bad weather. Of course if travel is unsafe (blizzard, hurricane, etc) we will cancel the tour and offer refunds, but that is a rare instance.
Seating on the motorcoach:
In the interest of fairness to everyone, we assign seats on the bus, as they do on the airlines, first to sign up, first served. If you are traveling with friends be sure to let us know so we can try to seat you near each other. Single travelers will be given their own seats if space allows or may be seated with another single traveler. Please sit in your assigned seat until we have picked up in Sagamore, after which you can spread out when there are empty seats available.
Gratuities for driver, tour escort and local step-on guides are included in your package. Gratuities for any included meals are also included in your package price, as are gratuities for luggage handling. Housekeeping gratuities arenot included in your package unless specified on your itinerary.
Single Occupancy Rates:
We are often asked why we charge more for single travelers on our overnight tours and why some single supplement rates are higher than others. This is not just a random fee, and we love our single travelers, we are not trying to discourage them! When we price our overnight tours, as most people travel with two per room, we cut the hotel fees in half. So if a hotel room costs $100 per night, for our double occupancy rate we factor in $50 for each person. If you are traveling without a roommate, the hotel room still costs $100 and you need to make up that extra $50. For trips that are many nights, or for trips with very expensive hotel rooms, this can add up quickly. If you are interested in having us find you a roommate for a tour, please let us know when you sign up as we can sometimes find another single looking to share a room.
Deposit & Cancellation Policies:
I am obligated to make financial commitments and payments to my suppliers prior to a tours departure based on your anticipated participation. Once I have guaranteed the number of passengers to my suppliers (attractions, restaurants, hotels, etc), I am invoiced for that number of passengers. If you cancel after that point, I am still obligated to pay for your attractions, restaurants and hotel expenses. Please check individual trip pages for detailed cancellation policies, below is a general outline:
Day-trips: full payment is due 45 days prior to the trip, refundable up to 14 days prior to the trip
Day-trips with ticketed events (theatre, ballgame, etc):
Shows priced under $ 100 require full payment to reserve
Shows over $ 100 require $75 per person to reserve
Balance is due 45 days prior to the trip, Non-refundable unless your ticket is resold
Multi Day trips:
$75 per person deposit to reserve space, balance is due 60 days prior to departure.
Refundable up to 45 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified.
Overnight trips with ticketed events (theatre, ballgame, etc):
$75 per person non-refundable deposit to reserve, balance is due 45 days prior to trip
Deposit will be refunded if your ticket is resold, balance is refundable up to 30 days prior to departure
Travel Insurance for Multi Day Tours:
Travel insurance is available on all of our Multi Day Tours through Travel Insured International. Call or email for pricing and details.
Cancellation Protection for Single Day Tours:
Cancellation Protection is available for all single day tours. This affordable plan allows you to cancel your single day tour right up until the morning of departure and receive a refund for the full trip cost. The most common reasons for cancelling are covered, including illness, injury or family emergency. It does not cover weather related cancellations. Cancellation Protection is available for the affordable rate of $7.00 per person (or $14.00 per person for trips that involve theater or sporting event tickets). In the event that you need to cancel, you will need to fill out an easy form and supply is proof of your reason for cancellation (your doctor will have a form to sign in case of illness)

Funtastic Getaways acts as an agent of air carriers to secure air transportation, but is not responsible for the acts or failures to act, willful or otherwise, of any air carrier or their personnel. Any tickets, coupons or receipts issued are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the air carrier. In the event of a delay, it is the responsibility of the airline to determine exactly what procedure will be followed and shall not be the responsibility of Funtastic Getaways
Funtastic Getaways is not liable for any bodily injury or harm, accidents, property damage or personal loss as a result of, but not limited to: physical exertion for which the participant was not prepared; travel by plane, train, car, bus, boat or other mode of transportation; consumption of alcoholic beverages; Forces of nature, such as high winds, hurricanes, flooding, etc; heat exhaustion; Civil unrest or terrorism.
Funtastic Getaways reserves the right to make hotel and/or route alterations in order to improve the quality of a trip or better accommodate its guests. It is the travelers responsibility to select a trip appropriate to his/her abilities and interest and must be in sufficiently good health to undertake the trip. Funtastic Getaways is not liable for any delay, inconvenience, lost or additional expenses for trip termination due to an improper, expired, forgotten or lost passport, visa or other document. Funtastic Getaways reserves the right to refuse as a trip participant, or remove from a trip any person that it judges to be incapable of participating in the activities or who it determines is detracting from the enjoyment of the trip by others.
