Begin our holiday journey to western Massachusetts with a visit to a gorgeous Gilded Age mansion, Ventfort Hall.  An imposing Jacobean Revival style mansion built in 1893 for the sister of JP Morgan, Ventfort Hall is now a meticulously restored Gilded Age museum.  During Christmas time the entire mansion in decorated in tradional 19^th century style. 

We will enjoy a delicous lunch served at the mansion before visiting the iconic Norman Rockwell Museum.

The Norman Rockwell Museum houses the largest collection of original Norman Rockwell artwork including over 320 “The Saturday Evening Post” covers, alongside special exhibitions of works by other notable American illustrators past and present. 

End the day with some free time in the town of Stockbridge, made famous by Norman Rockwell’s iconic painting of the village during the holidays. Stroll Main Street, browse the quaint shops & enjoy the downtown atmosphere of a Stockbridge Main Street Christmas, a magical New England setting decorated with holiday wreaths and festive lights during the holiday season reminesent of the Norman Rockwell painting.
