Travel to Washington DC to see, with Mother Nature's co-operation, the beautiful Cherry Blossoms in full bloom.

DAY 1- We will stop at Baltimore's Inner Harbor for shopping and dinner (on your own). We'll overnight at the Holiday Inn in Greenbelt, MD.

DAY 2 - We'll take a narrated tram tour through Arlington Cemetery. On our tour, we'll make several stops, including at the Kennedy gravesites, Arlington House, and the Memorial Amphitheater. At the Amphitheater, we'll witness the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then, spend the afternoon walking in George Washington's footsteps as we tour his mansion and take a 1-hour guided tour of Mount Vernon, George Washington's family estate. Over fifty years, Washington greatly expanded the structure-creating an impressive 21-room residence. The interior of the Mansion has been meticulously restored to its appearance in 1799. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a delicious dinner at the Mount Vernon Inn. (B,D).

DAY 3 - You'll have the morning to explore one of the eight Smithsonian Museums in DC, all of which line the Mall area. Then, our 1 ½ day Monuments & Memorials tour will visit the World War II Memorial, the FDR Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and the Martin Luther King Memorial. Enjoy a delicious family-style dinner at Carmine's Restaurant before meeting our guide again for our evening illumination driving tour of the city. (B,D)

DAY 4 - Meet our guide for our full day tour of Washington, DC. (B) DAY 5 - We will depart the hotel and travel back to Cape Cod. (B)
