Join us for a taste of Italy - no passport required! Providence is a city known for world class culinary experiences with heavy Italian influences.

A delicious Italian lunch is included at the Federal Hill restaurant, Trattoria Appia. While we dine on authentic Italian cuisine their talented chefs will treat us to a cooking demo with their wood-fired pizzas.

After lunch enjoy some time browsing the amazing culinary shops & bakeries in the area. Stroll Providence's "Little Italy", Federal Hill, browsing the Italian shops that sell wonderful Italian meats, cheeses, pastas, and pastries.  You may want to bring a small cooler to carry home the goodies that you will find!

End the day at Providence’s Riverwalk where we will have free time to stroll along the river and take an included 20 minute gondola ride! Enjoy the sights and sounds of the city aboard authentic Venetian gondolas, and of course no ride would be complete without a little serenade from our gondolier!  While relaxing on the Riverwalk enjoy the sounds of our private live Italian musican as you are transported in your mind to the peaceful riverways of Venice.

Insalata Di Cesare (Romaine hearts and grana Padano cheese,House-made Caesar dressing and crostini)

Margherita Pizza (Fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomato, fresh basil)

Pomodori Mozzarella (Fresh mozzarella and organic tomatoes,Tossed in olive oil with fresh basil)

Gnocchi Alla Nonna (House-made potato gnocchi with sauteed eggplant and house marinara, basil, and fresh mozzarella)
