Explore the magic of late spring in New England with us! Start the day in Boylston, where the Worcester County Horticultural Society cares for the state’s largest botanic garden, The New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. Voted "Best Botanic Garden in the US" by TravelAwaits. A living museum of plants featuring a Lawn Garden, a Secret Garden, Cottage Garden, conservatories, formal and naturalistic gardens, and expansive views of the Wachusett Reservoir. You’ll have two hours to stroll the garden and woodland trails to enjoy the splendor of the gardens and shop in their extensive gift shop at your own pace. Enjoy a delicious & hearty full lunch at O'Connor's Restaurant.

End the day at Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory & Gardens. The newly expanded 8,000-square foot conservatory houses nearly 4,000 native and tropical butterflies year round. It is also home to many plants and a pond with a small waterfall and brilliantly colored Japanese koi. Delight with the many different varieties of butterflies swooping gracefully amidst the plants and flowers. Stand still and perhaps a butterfly will gently descend and land on your shoulder! The one-acre outdoor garden area at Magic Wings has been planted with many types of native flowers and trees allowing you to see the pollinators in their natural habitat. Please wear comfortable shoes & dress for the weather.
