DAY 1 - Fly from Boston to Vancouver. Funtastic Getaways will provide airfare and Logan transfers - schedule & pricing to be announced in August.  Transfers to the hotel in Vancouver are included. Overnight at the Sheraton Wall Centre, centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Dinner at the hotel is included. (D)


 DAY 2 - Enjoy the day at leisure in Vancouver to take a hop on hop off bus tour or explore Vancouver on foot from our centrally located hotel.  (B)

OPTIONAL TOUR: Take an optional full day tour & cruise to Vancouver Island - take BC Ferries 95-minute cruise to Victoria to see many points of interest, including the Victorian-era Parliament Buildings and the Empress Hotel. A visit at the famous Butchart Gardens is included - with over 50 acres of gardens! You can also choose to visit the Fairmont Empress for Afternoon Tea.  The hotel is world renowned for their Afternoon Tea, served to more than 100,000 international visitors each year. Return to mainland Vancouver aboard BC Ferries and back to our hotel. Optional tour pricing TBA

DAY 3 - Travel on the Rocky Mountaineer Train from Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. We will travel on the Gold-Leaf domed train On today's journey, you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops. Hot gourmet meals (breakfast and lunch) in the dining car and complimentary cocktails are included on the train.  Overnight in Kamloops. (B,L)


DAY 4 - Your rail journey continues east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Enjoy a hot gourmet breakfast and lunch, and complimentary cocktails on the train.  Onboard host gratuity is included in your package. Your rail journey ends in Lake Louise, where we will stay for TWO nights at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.  Surrounded by soaring mountain peaks, the majestic Victoria Glacier and a glistening emerald lake, the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel is in Alberta's Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is a year-round luxury mountain resort offering guided mountain tours, scenic hiking and canoe activities, a luxury spa, and exceptional dining experiences.  (B,L)


DAY 5 - Enjoy the day at leisure at Lake Louise. Relax at the hotel and enjoy afternoon tea, take one of the activities offered at the resort.  Take a gentle rafting trip on the Kicking Horse River, rent a canoe to paddle on the lake or relive the experience of the original visitors to Lake Louise on a 1 1/2-hour horseback ride around the lake.  Or, take a 1 1/2-hour Voyageur Canoe Experience in an authentic 26’ cedar strip and canvas canoe. As you journey across the lake your historian guide will share stories of native peoples, early explorers and fur traders (additional charges for these experiences are not included in your package).  (B,D)


DAY 6 - Our Canadian Rockies experience continues by deluxe motorcoach with a Yoho National Park Tour, from Lake Louise to Banff.  Vertical rock walls, waterfalls and dizzying peaks gives us a unique glimpse into Canada’s natural wonders.  Sights we'll see include the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake, and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. Afterwards, we'll travel to Banff. Overnight in Banff at the centrally located Moose Hotel & Suites, located in the heart of downtown Banff. (B,D)


DAY 7 - Today, we’ll experience Icefields and Glaciers on a full-day motorcoach tour along one of the most scenic highways in the world as we travel to Jasper National Park on the Icefields Parkway. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. At the Columbia Icefield Centre, time is provided for lunch and then you’ll experience the Columbia Icefield Glacier Adventure. We'll tour the Athabasca Glacier in a giant six-wheel drive Ice Explorer vehicle while your guide explains the history of this ancient glacier and points out interesting geological features. Then, we'll take a walk on the Glacier Skywalk, an interpretive boardwalk and glass-floored observation platform extending 96 feet out over the Sunwapta Valley. Stops will also be made at Bow and Peyto Lakes. Overnight in Banff at the Moose Hotel & Suites. (B) 

DAY 8 -Today's sightseeing in Banff will highlight many local delights including Bow Falls, the Hoodoos, Lake Minnewanka and Surprise Corner. Also included in your Banff sightseeing tour is a ride on the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for a panoramic 360° view of the six surrounding mountain ranges, valleys, lakes and bird's-eye view of the town. Continue to Calgary and ‘Discover How the West was Once’ at Canada’s largest living history museum, Heritage Park Historical Village. This 127-acre attraction is home to the year-round Gasoline Alley Museum and is nestled on the banks of the Glenmore Reservoir with the picturesque backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Meet friendly townsfolk in full period costume as you stroll down the wooden boardwalks or pop into any number of working shops, businesses or homes. Overnight in Calgary at the centrally located Delta Calgary Downtown.  A farewell dinner at the hotel is included. (B,L,D)

DAY 9 - We’ll transfer to the airport for our flight back to Boston.  A transfer from the airport to Sagamore, Barnstable & Dennis will be provided. (B)
